obviously, this is an ice cream.

i'm sure that everyone eats ice cream before, but do you know who invented ice cream? why are they called ice cream and etc.

- Originally it was iced cream. By using ice and salt in an ice-cream maker the cream is slightly frozen. More than 100 years and several cultures later we have ice cream.

normal ice cream cone.

you must be thinking who so wuliao go and invent ice cream cone right?

- well.. Ice creams were invented in China, where vendors used to sell shaved ice with syrup or milk poured over it.Later, this was believed to have carried on to Italy by Marco Polo, and the ever improvising Italians changed milk and syrup to cream. They used to sell these ice creams in bowls, but soon after it was probably cumbersome to have so many bowls (no disposable bowls at the time!), so some inventive fellow must have decided to reduce the workload and increase his customer base by introducing a biscuit or bread which held the ice cream, and must have slowly evolved into the sturdy, delicious waffle cone.

IMPORTANT: Although the term "ice cream" is sometimes used to mean frozen desserts and snacks in general, it is usually reserved for frozen desserts and snacks made with a high percentage of milk fat.

sorry, but i couldn't find who really invented ice cream cuz some say the persian, some says chinese and made me feel so confused!
