boyfriend: you are so ^&%$#@ how can you (^&*#$%#?
girlfriend: and then? *kambang face*
boyfriend: and then, i'll continue loving you until forever and forever.
i saw this from 我爱黑瑟会 and i think it's so funny. the boyfriend is suppose to be more or is speechless after the girlfriend says 'and then' but instead he says that he loves her. HAHAHA.
*the above has not to do with whatever is written below.*
anyway, there is 1 month left until my finals which means there's only 3 weeks left and i'm finish with my first semester. time really flies! and without noticing, i've been in perth for almost 3 months. sometimes i that my life here is so not real, it's like i'm dreaming and i havent get the chance to wake up. it's a long dream, meeting new friends, new lecturer, new subjects, new places, bus becomes my only transport, new school..
it's like i never expect myself to be here so soon, or i've never expected myself to be here. i'm proud to say that i'm a lot more independent now. i remember before i came here, my mother always tells me how hard everything is going to be for me, as i'm do nothing at home other than eating, tv-ing and sleeping. but overall, i'm okay with my life here.
if you ask me, what's the happiest thing for me everyday, that'll be preparing my own meal. that's something that i don't usually do when i was back home. i didn't even know that i can cook until now, and i'm proud of that. i get to do my own laundry, nothing special about this as it's so so for me and i like it only because i get to 'de-frost' myself under the sun while hanging my clothes to dry.
i get to be like an aunty knowing the prices of foods in the supermarket. i never even bother to know how much is an orange when i was back in brunei but here, i'll have to know the price so that i make sure that i don't overspent and stuff like that. the prices of fruits and veges in oz changes due to the season, orange is so expensive now! can you imagine, $1 per orange? sigh.
i get to buy different fruits and veges depending on the season, as they're cheap only when it's their season. i remember buying a bag of kiwi (approximately 10 of them inside) that cost $7+ which is 70cents each and now i can get it for 30cents each. see the difference? well, it's only 40cents difference but if you get a lot then you'll see how big the difference is.
brocolli, bananas and apples are what i always buy and i think they're quite cheap now. especially brocolli. i can see the price drop, it was $7+ per kg before and now it's $3-4 per kg and i'm so happy about that because i love brocolli. the price for banana keeps going up and down and i remember nelly told me that the price once go up to $10+ per kg because its not the season. see how crazy the prices are?
unlike brunei, the supermarket always set different item to be on special and they have papers listing them so that the public know what's on special and i kinda like it that way. because i got a BIG BOX of cereal that was suppose to be $7 but i got it for $3 only. and it's so delicious! it's Crunchy Nuts but i don't see any nuts in there but it sure is crunchy. it's just like corn flakes but it's covered with honey. sadly, there's not honey star here. :(
i like the weather at the moment as it's cold but the sun is still shining. so when you're cold, just look for places with the sun and just de-frost yourself there. oh, and i enjoy checking the weather forecast everyday, knowing whether it's gonna rain(it hardly rains here), be windy, sunny..
i like walking to the bus stop because that's the only time i get to do some 'exercise' and i like riding on the bus, watching different people doing different things. well, except for the aboriginals, there's scary. they talk like pirates and talk very loudly as if the other person is deaf. and drunkers too, there's one who can even speak to himself during the whole journey in the bus. there's a kid who's so funny, he keeps staring at me when i sat beside him with his big brown eyes. it's like his searching for my small tiny eyes.
i don't like the fact that we don't have a 'fix' classroom with 'fix' classmates. well, it's good that we get to have different friends from different class but it's hard to know them better. i've only know some a tiny bit better because we're in the same class for 2 units. hmm.. that's not a problem to be worry of at the moment.
i have to be worry about my finals! i still have 3 tests before the finals. how terrible is that? wuuu~ i feel like having some of my cereal right now but i've just eaten my dinner. sigh. control! yup. that's all for the moment. wordy post i know because i'm so lazy to upload pictures and last but not least, happy 8th birthday to my dearest pipi. love me. :)
